Human reproduction (short note) part 2 .

Humans are sexually reproducing and viviparous.
Male reproductive system includes a pair of testis accessory duct ,gland and external genitalia.
Testis pouch is called scrotum ( temp.- 2-2.5'c ).
In testis 250 compartments are found. In compartments tubules are found.
Seminiferous tubules are divided into two cells
1-male germ cell(meiotic division)
2-sertoli cell (provide nutrition to germ cells).

# male sex accessory duct include rete testis, Vassa efferentia , epididymis and vas  deference.

# accessory gland- seminal vesicle, prostate and paired bulbourethral gland.
Female- the female reproductive system include a pair of ovaries, oviduct, uterus, cervix, vagina and external genetalia.
The oviduct (fallopian tubes) , uterus and vagina are female accessory duct.

Male ejaculation 200 to 300 millions sperms are release during a coitus.

Female menstruation begins at the poverty is called Menarche .

2, 4 8 16 data cells are called blastomers. With 8 to 16 blastomeres is called a morula.

Placenta facilitate the supply of oxygen and nutrients to produce and also removal of carbon dioxide and excretory wastage produced by embryo.

Length of testis- 4 to 5 cm, width of testis- 2 to 3 cm.
Length of ovary- 2 to 4 cm.
Length of oviduct (fallopian tube)-10 to 12 cm long.

Spermatogonia-each spermatogonia is diploid and contains 46 chromosome .
Secondary spermatocyte have 23 chromosomes. The secondary follicle soon transforms into a tertiary follicle which is is characterized by a fluid filled cavity called antrum

Corpus luteum secretes large amount of progesterone .

Relaxin is also secreted by ovary.
Graphene follicle of ovary secretes oestrogen.

The process of formation of ova is called oogenesis .
Note - endometrium regenerates in 5 to 10 days.
